Lake County Department of Job and Family Services
It Takes a Village to Raise Children! This is our Foster Care and Adoption recruitment theme for 2021 and we need your help! This theme is more relevant now than ever before given the global pandemic facing our communities. Lake County needs more homes to help keep children safe. The agency has scheduled Pre-Service classes regarding foster care and adoption throughout 2021 and these dates and times are on the flyers attached. Pre-Service classes can also be completed virtually now, too!
Cardinal Circles
Cardinal Circles provides Mentor Schools' families with new ways to connect with one another and engage with the district. Centered around affirmation, collaboration, and transformation, the program offers parents and guardians a chance to come together around their shared interests and experiences and to explore unique resources and opportunities. Cardinal Circles is another way for families to find support, build resilience, and create personal, collective, and systemic growth and change. For more information on Cardinal Circles, please see the attached flyer.
