Student Pick-Up/Drop-Off Belongings at Memorial Middle School

Dear Parents/Guardian(s) and Student(s),

We hope this letter finds you in good health. As a district, we have developed the following plan for families to pick up and drop off items at Memorial Middle School. For safety reasons, we will be using a “drive through” process consisting of six curbside stations.

Families are asked come on the day designated below:

  • May 22 last names A-E
  • May 26 last names F-J
  • May 27 last names K-O
  • May 28 last names P-T
  • May 29 last names U-Z

Memorial will be open from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day. Please note: All parents and students are to remain in their cars during the pick up / drop off process. Students and parents will NOT be permitted to access the building.

The map indicates the route cars should follow.

Vehicles should use the back entrance near Garfield, follow the route to various stations, and exit accordingly. Specifics of each station are outlined below:

○ #1 - Check In / Yearbook Pickup

■ Pre-ordered yearbooks MAY be available for pickup. LifeTouch has experienced some delays in delivery due to COVID19.

■ Alternate pick-up plans will be communicated if the yearbooks are delayed.

○ #2 - Instrument Pick-Up / Drop-Off

■ Drop-off of school issued instruments.

■ Pick-up of any personal instruments that were left at school.

○ #3 - Art Supply / Project Pick-Up

■ Pick-up of any personal supplies / projects that were left at school.

○ #4 - School Item Drop Off

■ Drop-off of various school items. These may include...

  • Keys to lockers.
  • Other misc school items you may have.
  • NO iPADS / CHARGERS WILL BE COLLECTED AT THIS TIME

○ #5 - Clinic Item Pickup

■ Pick-up of any medications or personal clinic supplies.

○ #6 - Main Locker Item Pickup

■ Contents of each locker will be placed in a bag and labeled with your child’s name.

■ Staff will retrieve the appropriate bag and bring it out to your car.

Our goal is for families to move through the stations as quickly as possible. We ask that you please be patient and exercise safe driving. We thank you for your support. Reach out via email to blackburn@mentorschools.org or dwyer@mentorschools.org with any questions.

We look forward to seeing you on your assigned day.
